The fastest way to learn the notes on the neck. Name the highlighted note — or find a note on the fretboard — and build a streak.
Don't try to memorize all 72 spots at once. Start with the natural notes (no sharps/flats) on the low E and A strings — those anchor most chords and barre shapes. Set the range to Frets 0–5, get quick, then open it up to 12. A few minutes a day beats one long session.
Two things that speed it up: the notes repeat at the 12th fret (fret 12 = the open string, an octave up), and any note on one string sits two frets over and two strings up (the octave shape). Once it clicks, look up the shapes in the Chord Library or run scales in the Scale Library.
